I just submitted my first few claims from the vet and the process was totally easy. I was expecting to have to engage in some back & forth but SPOT did their job and then the reimbursement showed up in my bank. I wasn't sure if I went with the right pet insurance, now I know I chose well.

Embrace, the best around !!
Our experiences have always been wonderful with the Embrace Claims process. Recently we had to take our dog to an Emergency Hospital due to a head trauma. I filed the claim later that morning after we returned for the sole purpose I would not forget. The claim was approved in less than four hours. Astounding service, they have always been approved quickly but this time was amazing. I filed on a Monday and received payment on Saturday. The coverage we chose has never let us down.

This was my very first claim for Clark Gable so I understand that it took a rather lengthy time to process. I received an email more than 10 days ago explaining the amount of money I would be receiving . I’m still waiting for the the check to arrive so I cannot give an honest opinion of your service yet!

I got Trupanion when my dog was 9 weeks old. I think I used it once in only 6 years. I had been thinking, well it’s a lot of money, my dog is only 6yo, am I doing the right thing paying into this? Then, without warning, my dog became ill. Within two days she went from eating and seeming fine, to being diagnosed with an aggressive, blood cancer. There had been no warning signs. Sadly, by the time she was diagnosed, my dog’s chances of survival and quality of life through aggressive treatment were at almost zero, and she was obviously suffering. We had to let her go and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. The ONLY thing that made it slightly more bearable, was knowing because of Trupanion, we could say to the doctors, “whatever you have to do to diagnose and help her, do it!” without thought to the cost. Trupanion really stepped up, approving all procedures, scans and testing within minutes. It was one less thing to worry about. I don’t regret having Trupanion because I know, in our quest to save our baby, we left no stone unturned. Now we have a new puppy and the first thing we did was sign up for a new Trupanion account. Highly recommend.

Reality
I submitted our claim two days after we took our pet to the emergency center, on a Thursday, and the claim was approved and deposited the following Monday (minus the 10% and our deductible.) Actions speak louder than any words I could possibly put together. We will be staying with Embrace through the life of our pet.
