I’ve had a great experience with claims process
I’ve had a positive experience with MetLife Pet Insurance so far. The claims process is incredibly easy and straightforward, with a quick turnaround time for some reimbursements while others take longer (almost 3 weeks) - not sure why. Their app is user-friendly and makes submitting claims a breeze just snap a photo of your invoice and upload it.

Don’t cover anything after you’re with them
Terrible about finding reasons not to cover any conditions after you’ve been with them for a while. At the same time they greatly increase premiums annually. I’ve been with them since 2019, terrible treatment of loyal customers.

My experience today with Aileen and customer care was 10-STARS! Pet insurance has become very complicated, much like personal health insurance, with a lot of of options and benefits. She helped me walk through all of my options and carefully explain the benefits for each and all helping me make the best possible choice for myself and Mr. Waffles.
