I have 3 horses I took to the vet for…
I have 3 horses I took to the vet for their yearly vaccines, tooth float etc. Aspca promises to refund part of this once a year and has been great in the past. This year they quickly refunded 2 but decided they needed 2 years of dr. notes for the 3rd. I'm assuming this is because I actually had an injury claim for this horse in 2024. My only injury claim the whole time I've had this policy. I uploaded all the receipts and notes I had. They want more from the vet and are closing my yearly check up reimbursement claim in 3 days if they don't receive anything from the vet. My vet is very busy and I doubt they will get anything in on time. This is a $175 claim that they tout as part of their package. It has nothing to do with any injuries. I feel like this is harassment. Buyer beware.

Pumpkin always follows through with…
Pumpkin always follows through with what they advertise. My Cosette, a bichon, injured her right eye and developed dry eye, a lifetime condition, that led to painful corneal ulcers on her eyes, and she eventually had to have cyclosporine implants in her eyes, an expensive procedure. In addition, she developed a benign cyst on her head that had to be removed through another surgery, also expensive, and more recently has been tested for Cushings disease, due to major weight gain and high levels of enzymes in her liver, a condition for which she is still being treated. Without the help and coverage from Pumpkin's, it would have been really hard for me to provide the proper care. I really can’t say enough for Pumpkin Pet Insurance. The claim process is easy, and their response is fast. I’m just so thankful I chose Pumpkin.

Easy to apply, but adjustments take a long time.
Although the application process is easy, if you apply through an employer and need to update your address, the process is slow because the change must be made via the employer, and you have to wait for the data to synchronize with Nationwide.
