They allowed my (separated) wife to cancel the insurance on my two beautiful Mainecoon Feline boys, and by the time I learned of it, it was too late to reinstate the insurance. Now it it going to be 3x the amount and I cannot afford it. In conclusion, they care more about your $$ than they do about protecting animals. Why would they allow someone else to cancel YOUR pet insurance? I'll tell you why, so they can charge you a higher premium once you recommit. p.s. I would have left zero stars if it was an option

I have been with Petfirst/Metlife for many years. First off, the customer service is outstanding. If you call in, the representatives are helpful and kind. The communication about claims and what plan works best for you is wonderful. They don’t try to upsell you. The premiums are a little more expensive but I think it’s worth it for a quality product. Thanks to Petfirst/Metlife.
