Excellent service
I had not made a claim on our pet insurance, because I was worried the online claim process would be laborious. Our personal health insurance website isn't user friendly, but my assumptions about Nationwide were wrong. I made several claims quickly and easily online. I got fast responses and fast payments. Thank you for making it fast and easy.

Constant Rate Increases
I have never had a year where they didn't increase my rate. Gone from $40 with a $100 deductible to $90 with a $500 deductible. I have to increase my deductible each year just to keep the rates low. They never tell you that they will increase your rate every year. But they do and say its the "cost of vet services in your area". I don't think my vet's rates have gone up by over 100% in this time. Try Costco, they offer much better rates, better coverage and the rates stay the same. Trupanion used to be good when it was called Vet Insurance. Not anymore. ------------ Called customer service. Only way to relieve the cost increases is to increase your deductible. So the goal is for you to increase your deductible when you most need it, when your pet is growing older and more liable to have a health issue. Not impressed.

Definitely worth peace of mind
I know some people are skeptical about pet insurance. But with my household, it has been an absolute godsend. We have a multiple pet family, and some are precluded from insurance due to age and preexisting conditions. So it's nice to have a backup plan if one of my younger ones gets ill or injured. Reimbursement has been super fast, 3-4 days after claim submittal at most. Easy to submit claims online.

Best pet insurance you can buy !
Easy to file claims and quick turn around in getting your reimbursements. My dog had a major incident recently and Healthy Paws came through with flying colors. I highly highly recommend!
