10/10 Received call from CEO herself !!!

I would have never expected to get a call from the CEO of a company but it happened today. I had a different understanding of a possible Cruciate Ligament injury then what the customer service rep informed me. I received a phone call from the CEO herself asking how she could assist, after a brief conversation we resolved the issue. I have never had the CEO of a company call me in regards to a complaint before and that shows that they truly go above and beyond to resolve issues. I'm expecting many years of enjoyable service with them...

Great Company

I have 2 dogs covered by a PetsBest policy. The Customer Service Department is top notch. I have had numerous claims in the past year and I have never had a problem getting my 80% reimbursements in a very timely manner. I recently took one of my dogs to see a doggy dermatologist. The vet said that she had never heard of PetsBest and was asking about the company because she was constantly being asked to recommend an insurance company to her clients. I had nothing but good things to say about PetsBest and she assured me that she would let her clients know about this insurance. I only wish human health insurance companies were so easy to deal with.

Pets Best was so easy during our crisis!

I have never seen a dog go into anaphylactic shock before and certainly didn't realize a bee sting would do that. We were frantic with our maltipoo and thinking only of getting her to the animal hospital...but when the bills started adding up, we started to panic! How do we put a pric on our precious little maltipoo?? When I called to make sure it was covered, they were sooo awesome and kind. They explained everything and if I've ever had a question, they've always explained with nothing but sincere kindness. I would definitely recommend Pets Best Insurance and already have to several of my friends!

Terrific experience (s) w Pet Partners

I felt compelled to reply after reading some of the negative posts about Pet Partners insurance. I have had the insurance for my Bernese Mountain dog. He's unfortunately had several trips to the ER after ingesting things he shouldnt have- and even had to have surgery to removed something lodged in his stomach. Having this insurance has payed for itself 20 times over. I found the claim process quite simple and straightforward for all procedures- and even regular checkups and monthly meds like frontline and heartguard. I downloaded and faxed forms- and always received an acknowledgement in the mail within days and payment within a few weeks. If I needed additional information - they are very helpful on the phone providing options. I would reccomend this to anyone.

happy with insurance

I've had the AKC plan for 2 years. I have one of the more expensive policies that covers some office visits and medication, dental cleanings, heartworm meds as well as accidents and other illness. I did read the fine print and know that hereditary and congenital conditions are excluded but so far I have not had any problems getting claim forms or being paid for my claims. Payment sometimes takes longer than the 2 week period they mention, but I have never been denied a claim and I would say that overall I have gotten back about half of what my yearly premiums are just for routine care and vaccinations. I have never had an accident claim. The first year I had the neutering plan for and the next year I chose a plan that did not include neutering since it wouldn't be needed again. I did have to call them to change the plan but it was as simple as that. I have no complaints and plan to continue with the insurance.

Excellent!

I initially reviewed Pets Best as poor and related the several things that had gone wrong with my initial claim which had been declined. However, Pets Best Customer Service suggested that I resubmit the claim. I did so, and they processed it amazingly quickly. I received exactly the amount that I was expecting. I am most favorably impressed and very glad that I have Pets Best. Especially, I appreciate their customer service. It is easy to reach a real person via phone. I also really appreciate being able to monitor what is happening with my claim online. This has been my first experience with pet insurance, and I am delighted that it has worked out.

PetsBest is indeed the best pet insurance around!

Let's face it, nothing is free ever, and nothing is cheap today, but as pet insurance companies and their offerings go, PetsBest is by far the best deal. Their various plans are more or less tailored to the client's need, and they are flexible and interchangeable. And for what the company offers, it is the least expensive one around. I should know! For SEVEN YEARS I payed a fortune every year, with all sorts of restrictions, to insure my kennel of show dogs. I don't know if PetsBest was not yet on ground or if I just didn't know about it.The crowning glory of this company is its people. I don't know who all is there but the young men and women I have dealt with can be described only in superlatives for customer friendliness, courtesy, and help. Thanks Vicki, Sara, Andy...you are great.

nobody knows what anybody is doing!!!!

i sent a claim in and they just let it sit on someone desk for 3 weeks and after 10 phone calls got more run around as to where the claim was and then they called me and said the check was being put in the mail that day and 11 days later no check. They are very unorganized and their 10 day turnaround has been a month and still nothing!!

take to long for claim processing

HI - I like the company overall- the only complaint I have is that they say ten business days to process a claim and I had never had a claim processed in that amount of time- so I would encourage them to be honest about the time to process claims- to say it is ten business days is not true- it is at the least fifteen business days

Best pet coverage I have found

With my previous cat (who died in 1993) I had tried other pet insurance companies, but I always had to pay a co-pay and they didn't cover many of the bills I had submitted for payment. I signed up with ASPCA Pet Insurance in 2006 and am extremely glad that I did. Last year I took my cat to a "cat" groomer that I thought would be a good place to go (I checked on the internet and it had several stars as a rating. I had taken my cat to the groomer in May and by Memorial Day weekend (a couple of weeks later), my cat had become very ill (he was falling down, plus his third eyelid was showing in one eye). This had happened on Sunday so, of course, the pet hospital where my cat's vet was was closed. Fortunately, there is a Pet Emergency center near where I live, so I took my cat there and was told he had "Horner's Syndrome" (the symptoms can last for 6-8 weeks), which they did. Over the time that my cat was ill, his medical bills came to over $1,500.00 and ASPCA Pet Insurance paid over $800.00 of that.
