I spoke with Alicia, on the phone yesterday and my experience in dealing with her was wonderful! I am new to Fetch and I’ve never had dog insurance before… That being said I had multiple claims to file and didn’t realize that invoices and medical records of each visit had to be submitted… To make a long story short I messed up and Alicia was so patient and kind to walk me through each claim and explain the outcome based on each vet visit. I unfortunately missed the window to submit two of the claims which I wasn’t thrilled about as I don’t feel fetch informed me in the beginning letting me know that there was a time limit to submit them. That being said, we are hopefully back on track and I’m hoping there will be no more issues in the future. Anyhoo…again, Alicia was incredible to deal with and if I have any more questions, she has given me her direct contact information and I will be dealing with only her from now on. Thank you, Alicia for your help and patience while navigating through the chaos lol🙏🏼😊

Once they get the pets health history
Once they get the pets health history, the procedure goes smoother. They don’t cover pre-existing issues or anything related to it (wish they did). But when my dog was sick for almost 3 weeks, they covered the 80% ( what I signed up for), the vet visits, urgent care visits & emergency vet visits! It was a god send the financial help!

I absolutely LOVE Trupanion
I absolutely LOVE Trupanion! I have had Trupanion since my dog was a puppy and she is 13 now! They are expensive… but you get what you pay for! This insurance has more than paid for itself over the years! My dog has been healthy for most of her life. She tore her cruciate ligament at age 6 - they paid 90% of the $4k surgery. She developed seasonal allergies which required expensive Cytopoint shots annually which they’ve always covered. And most recently my dog has been diagnosed with an adrenal tumor… they’ve covered 90% of all the costs between internal medicine and oncology ($500/month for ONE medication alone)!!! But guess what (shocking) they don’t cover preexisting conditions people!! Duh! Some of these comments in the negative reviews are just ridiculous! Trupanion pays my claims in less than 24 hours no problem whatsoever. A lot of times lately I get a text in the middle of the night saying they’ve covered a claim that I submitted that day! I’ve done my research and I’ve compared Trupanion’s cost/services to other pet insurances… there’s no doubt in my mind that they are the best! I will never have another pet insurance. Never.
