Save Money and Rest Easy

You can’t imagine what a lifesaver having pet insurance has provided. After spending over $1500 on one of my cats a few years ago, it became apparent that pet insurance was a necessary way to go. For those who can afford it, or even barely afford it, we all know that most of us would go to almost any length to pay for vetinary services for a sick pet – so, any way you slice it, you’re going to spend the money. Having the insurance, however, keeps you from having to go broke or into debt to do so. Recently one of my cats was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. If I didn’t have the insurance, that would have cost me over $2,000 to address. With the insurance, I only paid a fraction of that. It’s a great safety net, and, although I held my breath, ASPCA didn’t give me any trouble when it came to paying the claims!

The Best

When I was about to get a Chinese Shar-pei puppy I looked into pet insurance as the breed has a history of health problems. Embrace was the only company I found that would cover breeds specific/genetic problems so I went with Embrace. I was a little skeptical when I started to submit claims but honestly, I couldn't be happier. Embrace reimburses quickly and has never challenged a claim. In the first year my shar-pei has undergone 2 entropy surgeries, 1 bout of mange, 1 bout of hystiocytoma and Embrace didn't balk at any of it. I'll be staying with embrace for year 2 of my little girls life.

It's worth it!

We recently discovered that my dog Teddy has a collapsing trachea. If it wasn't for ASPCA pet insurance, I would have been worried about the bills on top of worry about my best friend. Handing over my credit card was easy not only because I would do anything to help Teddy, but i knew that shortly I would receive at least half (depending on your plan) back from ASPCA pet insurance. I would recommend anyone with a pet to get ASPCA pet insurance.

In love with insurance?

This is an excellent company and should serve as a model for how other businesses-- any business. The ease of use and customer service is fantastic. They provide pre-printed forms, you fax them in, they respond immediately with an email that is easy to read and understand and pay out very quickly (they even have direct deposit)-- or provide a clear reasonable answer if the event is not covered or you have hit your limit. Love!

Thank You for Caring

I have had the Hartville Group since it was Healthy Bark and Purr. They have helped me through my late dog Woofie and Smoochie knee and bone cancer surgery to my new dog's cancer diagnosis. They have even called me to ask how my pets were, It is easy to fill out the form and email, fax, or mail it in. Payment is quick. And the explanations make sense. If I were a pet I would want the Hartville Group. Actually if they did human insurance I would want it.

dog insurance - male mini sch.

I do not know what I would do without my dog insurance as I am retired but on a very low income and Kaiser has had to have his both legs operated on as well as cancer over this past year and there would be no way I could fork out the amount of money it cost by myself so I feel it is well worth the amount you pay out each month and when your animal gets ill it sure helps to know that you have help in handling the money factor. Thanks Sandra Norman

Trupanion is Awesome

We purchased our policy with Trupanion within the first year of owning our pet...a Maltipoo She was recently was diagnosed with a condition effecting both knees known as 'Luxating Patella'. We were shocked to learn that the surgery would run over $3,000. We called Trupanion and after a thorough review of our Veterinary Pet History, they pre-approved the claims. The surgery turned out to be $3,146 and Trupanion paid 90% of this cost!! We were very pleased with their professionalism and service. No bait and switch that you hear about with so many other companies. No debate. Their policy is well written and easy to understand. I highly recommend trupanion if you pet does not have any pre-existing conditions. For a new pet under 12 months..it's a no brainer...just do it!
