Wish I had pet insurance years ago
Best pet decision I ever made - except adopting our Sara -- was to buy pet insurance for her (and us!). Not only has it more than helped with the bills, but provide a supportive network for her care. We appreciate the check-ins. The insurance claim process is so easy on line. Sara, her dad, and I highly recommend Nationwide.

While I rarely have amazing things to say about insurance (I work in health care), I can safely say Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is 100% worth having. Being the owner of a city dog who frequently gets into unknown things- it's reassuring to know I can count on coverage from healthy paws. Highly recommend!

Thankful for help but confused and concerned about items not covered
Overall you system is very helpful and friendly. Some of the display for past claims is a little "wonky" or not as user friendly as one would hope. Once you get the hang of how to look for past claims it is pretty easy though. I am tough of user friendliness as I have to train users on software each day as well as support them and ideally you want a layout/functionality that is very intuitive. Take my feedback with a grain of salt. I am still confused as to why Nationwide won't cover his seasonal allergies and the flare ups such as the bronchitis from that. That is not clearly explained in the coverage. I am glad that you can cover prescription food as Smokie now needs it due to the pancreatitis. Thanks, Lynnette
