too much work on my part and one claim and rate went up. seems vca and trupanion dont really work well together on billing then i saw my rate went from 130 a month to 160 after a pre authorization for surgery but "had nothing to do with my dog's surgery". i am thinking of ending my plan as i did it since vca recommended and frankly don't see the two working together well

Exceptional Customer Experience
I’ve had MetLife pet insurance since my dog was a puppy and I have had the best experience. It’s been very easy to contact customer service, get my questions answered, submit claims and get reimbursed. I had to double my coverage since vet costs have been raised substantially, but I honestly would not recommend going without it.

When I called for assistance, the employee was helpful and compassionate. My claim was processed fairly and quickly. I was reimbursed in just a few days. Pumpkin allowed me to make the decisions for my dogs care that I needed to without worrying about cost.
