Not bad at all!
We submitted a claim for our cocker spaniel after she was admitted for excessent vomiting. I was very happy with how simple it was to make a claim. The people at trupanion stayed in contact with email updates on the progress of the claim. I would have liked to see more things covered, but its a help anyways.

ACL surgery
Our dog needed knee surgery to repair a torn ACL. We received an estimate from the vet and submitted this to Trupanion for pre-approval. They ok'd the pre-approval to cover 90% of the estimate and we scheduled the surgery for the following week. The vet clinic had worked with TruPanion before so the entire process was very easy. We did not have to pay the entire amount up front, only the 10% amount that we owed.

It is. A SCAM DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. Rate started out at $60 per month every year they increase the rates. Now at $120 and they are always thinking up reason why the will not cover the medicines. It is a rip off better put the money into a savings account you will be much farther ahead and not have to deal with the frustrations.

Major injury to puppy
Trupanion is the best. I have the 0 deductible plan with 90% reimbursement for my special little maltese Raine and they are prompt, helpful and Steve Zimmerman and employees are the best. I told my vet at Dekalb Animal Hospital all about them, and he is a signed up vet, these people are the best

Great service and quick reimbursement
Embrace has done a great job paying on all of my claims and has done so in a timely fashion. The only negative is that prescription food isn't covered under prescription drug coverage and I feel it should be at least in some cases.
