DO NOT BUY ASPCA INSURANCE
ASPCA DID EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO MAKE THEIR POLICY UNCLEAR WHILE SIGNING ME UP AND THEN PAID NOTHING FOR ANY OF MY PET'S ILLNESSES. I also love the mission of the ASPCA but DO NOT BUY THEY'RE INSURANCE! I purchased the insurance for my pet 6 years ago and thought she would be well covered. She was not. First, for every single vet item I sent in, ASPCA did pay 90% but the key was that they paid 90% on what they considered to be normal prices. Therefore, if I paid 150.00 for shots, they claimed that the normal and customary charge should have been 50 and then paid 90% of 50...not 150. This occurred on every single line item. So, although they claim on their web page that they do not have listed claim prices...they do. Then, my pup was diagnosed with cancer on Oct. 24th. She began treatment right away but as of Nov. 1st that same year - SHE WAS NO LONGER COVERED as my policy renewed. Apparently, no matter how long you have this insurance, your pet is only covered one year at a time. If they get sick even one day before the beginning of the next year (it's different for each policy), they are not covered after the renewal. When I asked about this, the representative stated, "It's just like homeowner's insurance. It starts over every year." Also, when your policy renews, there is an 180 pre-existing period for all sickness that starts all over again. This means that your pet really only has coverage for sicknesses that conveniently fall into the proper t

JUST WANT YOUR PREMIUM ANY EXCUSE NOT TO REIMBURSE
HAVE BEEN WITH HEALTHY PAWS JUST UNDER A YEAR. THEY GIVE EVERY EXCUSE NOT TO COVER YOUR DOGS HEALTH ISSUES. THEY HAV DECLINED EVERY CLAIM I HAVE SUBMITTED. THEIR REASON PREXISTING. EVEN WHEN IT'S NOT THEY STILL CLAIM IT IS. GRANTED MY DOG GIO (YORKIE) 8 YEARS OLD HAS HAD HIS ISSUES. HIS LAST ULTRASOUND WAS FINE THEY STILL HAD ISSUES. SPOKE WITH A TARA IN C/S. SHE CLAIMED MEDICINES THAT HAD BEEN GIVEN TO MY DOG IN THE PAST WAS NOT COVERED WHEN IT HAD BEEN. I JUST GIVE UP WITH WHAT THEY PROMISE. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMERS BEWARE OF THEIR FALSE PROMISES.

Trupanion is a really great company they have always helped me out with my baby midnight whenever I've needed them and Oh I've needed them. Midnight has been with this company since he was nine week and he's now three. I would recommend Trupaion to any pet owner because they're great.

NOT A GREAT START
SIGNED UP ON THE INTERNET FOR FULL COVERAGE AND WELLNESS. THEY SENT ME THE POLICY BY EMAIL AND I THOUGHT I WAS ALL SET. HAD MY FIRST VISIT AND WAS DENIED COVERAGE! EMAILED THEM THE WELLNESS CERTIFICATE AND NOW WAITING FOR A REPLY.

I wish all insurance companies were like Embrace!
Our very athletic Greater Swiss Mountain Dog came up lame last July. After several x-rays and examinations, it was determined to be tendonitis. After crate rest and keeping her still for several weeks, it still was not going away. We took her to a orthopedic rehabilitation vet who prescribed several weeks of therapy using a variety of methods such as cold laser therapy, treadmill swimming, specialized exercises, chiropractic and massage. After our deductible was satisfied, Embrace covered everything. I wish my human insurance was as timely and efficient as Embrace is! They are GREAT! I've recommended them to many dog owners and new puppy owners and have only received 'thank you's' from them for letting them know about Embrace. Keep up the great work and high standards Embrace! I have 3 Swissies with more coming and they will ALL be covered by Embrace.

One of the best decisions I've ever made!
We rescued a purebred Akita puppy after the breeder abandoned his female. We had no medical history available for either the mother or father so we decided it would be a good idea to get insurance. Very close to his 2nd birthday he started limping and moaning. Xrays showed severe hip dysplasia. After consulting Dr. Randy Acker at Sun Valley Animal Clinic we decided to have a full hip replacement. EMBRACE covered $3600 of our $4500 bill. Once the initial paperwork has been established the claims process is super easy. Our claims are deposited directly in to our bank account.

Prompt Service with excellent customer service
My cat was having problems with him stomach and was vomiting for no known reason, so I rushed him to the vet to what was wrong with him. It was a lot for just to find out he had hair balls really badly, but Embrace came to his aide and made this emergency visit so much more affordabe. Once again thank you so much.

Kept Promise of Service
The Embrace Pet Insurance program is amazing! My Bella became ill and it was with ease to make my claims and I received reimbursement within days. To select and set up my insurance plan was easy as the various plans were understandable and the website user friendly. When I needed to make a claim the forms were easy to fill out and send in. Within days, my vet had been contacted and payment was issued. Additionally, the ability to receive benefits within the Wellness program is a great way to recover some of the expenses that pet owners spend on their loved ones.
