Great service
My dog, Lucy, required extensive veterinarian care in May for an intestinal blockage. Lucy has a great vet, very skilled and also a great listener. In spite of this it took 4 days to diagnose the blockage because Lucy did not present with typical symptoms. On a Friday afternoon, close to closing time, the vet finally discovered a blockage in Lucy's intestine. She was transferred to an emergency hospital for surgery that night and received fantastic post surgery care until Saturday afternoon when she came home. I had 5 claims forms to submit, one for each day, Tuesday - Saturday's care. I submitted claims to Trupanion. Once again Trupanion's service was compassionate and quick. I had a few correspondances with Trupanion with questions I had and they were very caring throughtout the process. Payment was quick and covered 90% of all vet services claimed! I am very please I have Trupanion insurance for Lucy! It sure makes the requirement for good veterinary care a lot easier to provide. Thank you for your great service Trupanion.

I love Embrace for wellness as they can provide you coverage Day Of. I had another provider and was unaware they did not cover routine shots. I signed up with Embrace that day and it was covered. Fast payment and really friendly service. Highly recommend.

Stay Away!
This company is such a rip-off! Please stay away. I got this insurance knowing that at one point my puppy would need to be neutered. I paid every monthly payment on time, gladly. Then my puppy has his procedure and already at 7 months, apparently he has reached his max coverage and his neutering procedure is declined! Screw you, Embrace! Embrace this!!!! I gotta say, the turnaround time to decline the claim was amazing! I will be spreading this in the same amount of time, on every social network possible (Facebook, 500 friends! Tweeter, 1500 followers, LinkedIn, 600 connections)!

Trupanion is completely excellent. They actually help us to process the claim in order to make it possible for us to concentrate on taking better care of our much loved cat. They have helped all of us (owners, veterinarians and hospital specialists) to have won a very tight race with the time to save our cat who is going to die within a few days if not for the excellent surgery.I really respect Trupanion Insurance and I just want to thank their staff for being so nice, friendly and caring.

Highly recommend Pets Best
After another well known pet insurance company "let me down" after being with them for 10 years, I turned to Pets Best. Pets Best took on my 3 senior age dogs with no questions asked. Pets Best has allowed me to to provide a good quality life for my old dogs without me having to go into debt covering all the costs of their old age illnesses. I recently had to put down two of my old dogs, but because of Pets Best Insurance, I had at least a full year more with them and for that I am grateful.

If only they would insure humans!
I have been a customer for almost 3 years. Both my dogs are covered with the high end coverage ($250 deductible and 90% reimbursement). One of the two dogs has had A LOT of things go wrong requiring advanced and expensive veterinary care and in the Los Angeles area that means really expensive. Healthy Paws has been truly amazing. Their policies are fair and transparent. They don't pay for bells and whistles. They don't pay for office visits (even if it is a specialist). They don't pay for prevention. BUT they pay everything else and do so with absolutely amazing speed. 98% of my claims take 7 days before I actually have the check!! Occasionally they do ask for additional documentation from the vet or call the vet for clarification but on those occasions they communicate with me as well and their requests are completely understandable and reasonable. Right now they are paying for my one dog newly diagnosed with Cushings Disease and a mucosele on the gall bladder. The meds alone for these 2 conditions run almost $200 per month. Let alone all of her eye drops following glaucoma surgery which they paid for -- in the thousands. The customer support team are amazing folks. They are helpful and will truly help you get every dollar that is coming to you. I even got an email asking me about how this one dog was doing. Conceivably it was computer generated (like their birthday wishes) but I don't think so. Either way - I have never been asked how I am feeling
