Get this: I have my two horses insured here for accident/colic. My horse had to have colic surgery and the bill was over $17,000. Guess how much they reimbursed me? $889.00!!! Don't know how or why they denied practically everything! What a joke. Canceling this insurance immediately! I thought having insurance through the ASPCA was the right thing to do since I donate to them regularly. Thought they would be an honest and trustworthy company. WRONG!!! ASPCA-don't bother to reply with an I'm sorry you had a bad experience and to call customer service.

Terrible Pet Insurance Company
Very unaffordable after a couple of years. I cancelled them when they increased my policies over $1,000 in one year and they also didn't cover items they had previously covered. I believe that was due to people not being properly trained. One time I submitted a claim for medication and they said food was not a covered item. It was a medication they had previously covered many times. Terrible company.

Fast Turn Around Time On The Payments
I have had nothing but a great experience with Nationwide Pet Insurance. The turnaround time for processing a payment is excellent. From the time they get my claim to the time the money hits my account is usually a few days. You can't beat that. The only thing I would change is for them to work something out with the veterinary offices to pay them directly, and we just pay the copay when we walk through the door. I would highly recommend getting your pet insurance through them.

Didn’t pay for part of claims Luna
Luna and Charles is the owner Embrace paid some of the claim for my dogs accident they didn’t want to pay for a exam to find out what was wrong with her because they said she had an exam Yearly exam a month before/ this as not a yearly exam it was for her treatment she needed for the reason she was there… now we have call them and see what’s up. This is the first time I have insurance on our dog and something goes wrong.😬
