I’ve been really impressed with Metlife!
I’ve been really impressed with MetLife Pet Insurance. They’ve always been very prompt with claims. I have a $500 deductible, unlimited limit, 80% reimbursement policy. The only issue I had is they denied a claim for medication due to allergies saying it was a preexisting condition. Well, I appealed and won because I have an exclusion in my policy if I had a previous plan with another pet insurance company where the preexisting condition was covered. Otherwise I would have given this review 5 stars. Everything else about this company is great. Easy to use website and app! Friendly and helpful customer service agents.

Our dog was hospitalized
Our dog was hospitalized for two nights, and we received a pretty large medical bill. Spot Insurance reimbursed the cost of the coverage pretty quickly, after we submitted the required documents online. It was directly deposited into our bank account. We are very happy with their service so far!

Overall Experiance
The ease of filing a claim. Calling in is also so easy. Whenever I call in I am greeted by a representative who wants to help me. They listen to what I ask & answer my questions. My claims are paid out in a timely manner. I was referred to Pets Best. This was the best discission I made.

You never know…
We’ve had Pumpkin insurance for several years. They have always done right by us. My last dog got very sick and required a lot of emergency care. They paid the 90% with no hassle. Their customer service people are great in explaining things to you about your claim(s). I would recommend Pumpkin to any pet owner. Pet insurance is a must because you never know.

I signed up for Prudent's highest tier…
I signed up for Prudent's highest tier insurance coverage so that my kittens would be covered for anything, including their spays. What it doesnt tell you prior to signing up is that only $30 of a Spay surgery is covered. In my area a spay is easily $700 - 1,000. I have been trying to contact them for 3 days to cancel my coverage (I am still within their refund window) but they are impossible to get ahold of.
