Choose Wisely... And Don't Choose Embrace

It should say something about the company when 24% of the reviews are 3-stars or less and 16% are 1-star. It should also tell you something about the company when the annual rate increase is predictable and will be double digits. But if you log in and get a rate quote for your pet you will get a cheaper rate than if you renew. Today's email ping-pong battle with the Embrace Claims Adjuster Manager was an exercise in futility. She kept telling me what information she had access to and refused to acknowledge that someone in the company above her level might have the information. I can't believe that USAA has aligned themselves with this company and actually recommends Embrace's services to their customers. Embrace does not understand the fundamental tenets of customer service and building brand loyalty. The very people that created the problem (Claims) are left to adjudicate the problem? That solution doesn't always work.

If I could give them a zero I would

If I could give them a zero I would. This is so unfortunate. We have been HP customers since 2014. We just got notice that our premiums are going up $300 a month. I want to be clear that this post isn’t because the premium increases, it’s that fact that it increased without reason by 300 a month! When I inquired I got numerous different stories reasons why (we have not had any claims in 5 years and zero with two of the dogs). When I inquired further the excuses just continued. We will be leaving and it’s sad. We were very loyal Customers, minimal claims in the last 12 years, monthly payment NEVER missed. To get inconsistent stories, and no factual information was uncalled for. HP was in a huge lawsuit years ago for something similar to this. Steer clear lots of other insurance companies out there.

Embrace for the win 😃

I’ve been with Embrace Pet Insurance for three years now, and I couldn’t be happier. I have a beautiful King Charles Cavalier—my boy—and anyone who has one knows they can be high maintenance. Embrace has been consistently supportive, responsive, and easy to work with. One of the things that really gives me confidence is their affiliation with USAA, a company I trust completely. That trust extends to Embrace. I had an issue at one point where a pre-existing condition was incorrectly applied to an injury that wasn’t related. The adjuster, Alexi Z., went above and beyond—she took the time to listen, review additional documentation, and ultimately handled everything professionally and courteously. She truly cared, and it showed. I can’t say enough good things about Embrace. I trust them completely with my boy’s care and peace of mind.
