My experience over the last year
My experience over the last year, is that the goal of MetLife is to either No-pay or extremely slow-pay all claims. Example: uploaded documents mysteriously disappear so that the claim is put on hold and processing delayed. Every effort appears to be designed to reduce the reimbursement amount or to not pay legitimate claims.

I'm very satisfied with Pumpkin Pet Insurance. My claims have always been handled in a timely manner; the cost of the insurance far outweighs the benefits. Glad that my Vet recommended them to me for my now soon to be 9 year old Dachshund OttoGeorge.

This insurance saved my dogs life
This insurance saved my dogs life. We have an 8 year old Golden Retriever "Kali" who came down with a spontaneous pneumothorax. Without this insurance, there is no way that we would've been able to justify or afford the $13k for the surgery, a week in ICU and all the additional charges for the hospital stay. This gave us peace of mind that we would be reimbursed for most of the charges. Within 10 days of submitting all the claims, we were reimbursed. I now tell everyone that will listen to get pet insurance. We never wanted to be put in a situation where we had to make a decision on their life due to money. This was one of the best decisions we've ever made. Now Kali is running around like none of this ever happened
