I've had an excellent experience with Healthy Paws. My 11-year-old Pomeranian has developed a slew of health issues as she's gotten older, and I've never had to worry since everything has been 100% covered with a 70% reimbursement.

You know that reasonable rate they gave when you signed up?
Enjoy that year. I originally signed up with MetLife thru work. They allowed me to fully insure both my cats for $59/month. Since that day a few years ago, they've effectively quadrupled their rates. Now I'm paying $120 / month for ONE cat, since they kept denying payments to the other cat for supposed "pre-existing conditions". I will say when they're not busy quadrupling their rates and asking for SOAP notes, they do actually pay out most claims.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with an insurance company. Submitted required information 3 times and no updates after almost 2 months of initial filing of claim. Hold times for customer service is 30-60 minutes every time I call for an update. Absolutely unacceptable.
