We're grateful for Trupanion.
We're grateful for Trupanion. Our 15-year-old Maltease Mix, Butter, has been with Trupanion for 12+ years. She had 3 major claims in her past years. Recently, we took her to the ER at Animal Emergency & Specialty Center because she had severe seizures multiple times. It was a scary moment that we thought we might lose her. Thank goodness she's safe. We're glad that Trupanion is always here to ease our difficult time. The claim was processed lightning-fast as usual. We highly recommend Trupanion to any family. You never know when the emergency will occur, but you will always have peace of mind with Trupanion alongside your beloved pet(s).

Said my claim was preexisting even…
Said my claim was preexisting even though it was diagnosed about 4 weeks before we had the surgery. I had coverage for over 6 months. I called and they reopened and and approved it. However, they still didn't approve everything and the invoice amount dropped from the original. Felt like they purposely denied it to see if I would even call and now they still paid less making me have to call again.

Grateful for the quick turnaround time for refunds. Although, I thought we would’ve received a greater amount of refund given the amount we pay monthly. For example—We pay $120/month for our Bernese Mountain dog. For every $250 vet bill we only receive about $100 back. It’s almost not worth the coverage. We like to have pet insurance for the peace of mind.
