Leaving after four years of constant but…
After four years of constant but reasonable increases (from $31 to $62), current year renewal for a healthy 6 year old 55lbs dog went from $62 to $97. An otherwise great company that I would have stuck with and often recommended ruined by idiotic decisions - note the numerous complaints here and on other social media platforms like Reddit.

Trupanion is a lifesaver
Trupanion is a lifesaver! They have allowed us to get ALL of the care needed for our rescue pup as she ages and has a complex set of medical conditions. We never have to worry about foregoing expensive treatments because of cost limitations and can always receive the best care without guilt. We recommend it to all of our family and friends!

First Time Filing a Claim
Picking and insurance was so overwhelming however I am glad we went with MetLife.....we have been paying for insurance almost a year with no incidents or illnesses and thinking maybe our coverage was a little over the top......until our baby (French Bulldog) out of nowhere started having seizures. I am so thankful that we got the insurance and Metlife was so easy to file the claim and communicate with us. It made a stressful time easier knowing we were covered and that Metlife honored their policy coverage and didn't try to do anything shady. Highly recommend.

What a hassle!
After being a member for eleven years suddenly it’s extremely difficult to submit a claim. They make you jump through a bunch of hoops now making it totally inconvenient.
