Pretty slow
Sent a claim in mid September; just got notice mid-November of decision. I understood it would go to Deductible, but 2 months is entirely too long for processing a rather obvious claim. Prior insurance was more expensive but claim turnaround much faster.

First Time Filing a Claim
Overall this was a great experience. There was a delay in processing my claims due to an unusual amount of claims being submitted. Not a huge deal since I knew mine was going towards my deductible but for people who are waiting to be reimbursed with a sick pet, that timing would not have been acceptable.

Good resource
Overall, Pets Best has been a good resource as our dogs are aging. It's hard to put that in perspective sometimes, when the monthly premium comes out of our account, but having a dog with CHF now will give us a better understanding of what Pets Best can truly offer.

Have not been disappointed
We are coming on the year since our pup was diagnosed with doggy version of Addison's disease. While this already not a common disease for pups, it's especially rare in chihuahua mixed breeds (dachshund is her suspected side breed). Now, she's on medications for the rest of her life. Pets Best was my insurance choice based on the vet techs recommendation, and I have not been disappointed with any of the services thru the years since we first rescued her. And now my Vet tells us he has a story to share with other doctors at conventions and meet-ups about the rare "unicorn" pup patient of his! :)

Fast, Easy, and reliable.
I’ve had a great experience using Healthy Paws. My dog had a large bladder stone that needed to be removed and submitting the claim to Healthy Paws was easy. They refunded me quickly and even followed up via email asking how she was doing which meant a lot to me. I definitely recommend this company to others.

Healthy Paws made a hard time easier
It was such a relief to have Healthy Paws insurance when our dog recently had to have emergency surgery. Healthy Paws paid us accurately and on time. It is hard enough to have a pet go through something like this, and knowing that we have had insurance to help with expenses has made it much more bearable. I wish my personal health insurance was as easy as Healthy Paws!
