Second review process is very dificult
My very first claim had two charges that required 'additional information' - I submitted the details asked for, it has now been over 30 days and I have zero response on the additional payout that is warranted.

much easier than anticipated
I have never had pet insurance before with other pets. I am so thankful that this has been a positive experience. Emmett recently had to have surgery and we have not had any issues with getting claims paid quickly. I guess I was expecting it to be a hassle and it was definitely not. I have recommended Nationwide to all of my friends with pets. I am so pleased with the service.

I recommend your company to every 'pet' family and VRT I encounter!
My first German Shepherd had 'allergy' issues and Nationwide saved us a tremendous financial burden! Prior to getting insurance we spent over $7,000 in allergy associated bills. At 11 yrs. of age he had an aggressive cancer (diagnosis to passing...5 days). Nationwide was compassionate and reached out to me offering assistance and comfort. Now with 'fur baby' #2 we did not think twice about insurance and again....excellent service and kindness. Would NEVER second guess Nationwide Pet Insurance.

Easiest Claim process!
So happy to have started with Nationwide this year! We had to get a midyear booster for Willie, as well as another six months of Flea and Tick medication, and I was so grateful that we chose the Wellness plan where those things are largely covered! Never know when the Furbabies are going to need something, so better to have the protection! The Claim Process was a dream! Wish it was this easy to submit a claim for my own People Insurance! Claims processed quickly, and right into my account before the bills are even due! Thank you Nationwide for having such a great process!

Quick Claim Processing But....
Nationwide has been excellent with their claim processing. Even though they disclose it takes up to 30 days, we have never experienced that. The funds always get sent to us much quicker than 30 days. My only gripe with Nationwide is their lack of flexibility when someone wants to make a policy change. I inquired about this and they told me the policy as it is needs to run for 12 months - no exceptions. I found this to be somewhat unfriendly from a customer perspective. Other than that, I'm very happy overall with Nationwide.
