Fast Turnaround-Most of the Time
I have had very few issues since signing up for Nationwide Pet Insurance. Sometimes if I submit a bill for anything over a small amount it takes more time than usual. While I understand it does take more times sometimes, it can feel like the company is trying to find a way around paying for a large bill or condition that will require on going treatment.

It's so easy to submit a claim!
I use the VitusVet app recommended by Nationwide to submit my vet visit claims and they make it so easy! Submitting claims can take a long time especially if you aren't sure what you are doing, but through the app, all I have to do is take a picture of my invoice, indicate the total amount and submit! Nationwide then looks at it and let's me know what is eligible and what isn't taking the guess work out of everything.

My dog has always been super healthy but now, he will be turning 11 in February, I am expecting to see him decline a bit. I keep him on a balanced diet and yp to date to all his vaccines. Lately he had a dermatitis that tool months to completely heal. Having a pet insurance gave me piece of mind.

Healthy Paws helped make a stressful time easier
Our french bulldog Gus needed emergency spine surgery due to a ruptured disk. Healthy paws worked with our neurologist and hospital to get the payment straight to them so we didn't have to pay funds upfront. It was such a stressful time for us and Healthy Paws made it so much easier and helped keep our focus with Gus instead of the financial paperwork. Healthy Paws also checked in with us on how Gus was doing and these little things are why we will never change our insurance!
