Very helpful especially for a dog with health problems.
I bought health insurance for my puppy before her first vet appointment. My previous dog had insurance but not early enough and not as good an insurance company. This Havanese has serious digestive problems and needs RX food and supplements. She also has lousy teeth. Nationwide Insurance has been wonderful.

Excellent customer service!
I have received only the best customer service from Nationwide. Unfortunately, my dog Blanche has had some medical issues lately. Nationwide processed all our claims quickly and efficiently, whether they were submitted by myself or the vet's office. I would highly recommend Nationwide!

Will never NOT have pet insurance again!
I had never had pet insurance before but my veterinarian recommended it when my dog was 6 months old. Thank God she suggested it because the dog I have is unexpectedly prone to health issues, including two CCL tears that required high-cost surgeries. I'm not sure what we would have done without the insurance coverage. Trupanion has been incredibly easy to submit claims to and they've reimbursed us quickly as well for claims that met their guidelines. I am very happy with this service and will continue to use Trupanion for future pets as well.

Nationwide is easy to work with and timely with reimbursements
I first heard of Nationwide pet insurance while at my vet's, there was a brochure in the waiting area. After a devasting loss of a pet earlier this year, I now use Nationwide for both my pets (kitten and dog). I send in a claim for all wellness visits - I fortunately have not had any veterinary emergencies - the online claim submission is simple, easy to do, and I am reimbursed in timely manner (about two weeks). This is still my first year with them so hopefully there won't be any premium surprises going forward! I am thankful I have the coverage and recommend Nationwide.

Best pet insurance ever!
We have had pet insurance since our Afghan Hound /Poodle mix was 8 weeks old. My Vet suggested it & I have to admit at the time I was very skeptical. (LIKE really? Im just flushing, my $$$ away? ) However less than 18 months later our Dog Toa had a traumatic accident & broke both of his front legs, a pneumothorax, and damage to his liver & spleen. To say we were stressed is putting it mildly, Once we had Toa settled at CARE vets I immediately called Nationwide & they reassured me that we were covered for insurance. Without this, we simply would not have been able to afford his treatment. Thank you Nationwide Pet Insurance.

Nationwide makes pet insurance easy, affordable, and well worth it!
Nationwide has taken a lot of the financial stress involved with having a senior pup out of the equation. The app used for submitting claim forms is intuitive and easy to use, and the processing time is entirely reasonable (actually quite speedy!), which is much appreciated. We'll be Nationwide Pet Insurance customers for life, based on the service and responsiveness we've enjoyed so far!
