Happy with Nationwide
Over the last 15 years, I have had 6 dogs insured by Nationwide. I have never had any issues. My claims get processed within a very reasonable amount of time.

Claim processing has really gotten streamlined
Rosa got a pretty severe cut on her back so we took her in for surgery. I submitted the claim online and was paid for virtually all of iy in a few days. I wish human insurance claims were this easy. Money right into bank too.

Trupanion is expensive and will not cover insurance claims
We purchased insurance in January 2020 for our pup Tatty, in June she was diagnosed with Cushings diease, we had no idea what that was, but now we do. Trupanion declined the claim saying it was a pre existing condition, even though the VET who is wonderful wrote a letter and said the dog did not show signs of the condition. It was a terrible experience and I would never recommend them, very unethical company.
