I've been using Nationwide Pet Insurance for almost 2 years and it has made a huge difference in our pet's health. Our cat, Pagoda, had a spell of issues in the last year and with Nationwide, we were able to get him the care he needs to keep him going. Huge relief! We recently had to make an update to our policy and the Customer Service team was extremely knowledgable, professional, and caring. Made it a seamless process.

Great coverage but claims take a long time
We like the strength of our plan with Nationwide as it covers the majority of our expenses but the downside is that we are always paying those expenses out of pocket first (sometimes hundreds of dollars) and it usually takes a minimum of 3 weeks before we see the money returned to us. I wish the expenses got put through to the insurance company first before we received a bill

I Tell everyone they should have this coverage for their pets.
I have two dogs , one has severe allergies and has to see the vet regular and the other has had a couple of time that she has been sick enough that she needed a vets care and having this insurance from Nationwide has helped me a lot. They have done everything they say they do and always check if they are doing ok.

I tried filing a claim beginning of August and we sent documentation over 6 times both myself and the vet office and they closed our case to “no documentation”

Overall, i am so pleased. cusotmer service and response time could be better but I can't say anything negative otherwise!
Speed of claims could be faster, but once processed, money was sent instantly! Otherwise thankful to have this support in my corner!
