Nationwide was Awesome in reimbursing after Yogi's surgery.
Yogi are a corn cob which was stuck in his intestine. He received x-rays, ultrasound (3) ,extensive blood work before determining what was necessary. He had major surgery to remove the blockage. After surgery he got an infection in his intestinal track. He has been through such a painful and long ordeal. The bills were extensive.Nationwide has paid 90% of the cost within days of submitting the claims. Highly recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance.

Nationwide pet insurance is the best!
My first time having a “special needs” animal. One of my cats has had significant health issues and was recently diagnosed with severe environmental and food allergies requiring ongoing testing and treatment. I couldn’t have done it without Nationwide pet insurance. It’s been a blessing and helped cover some of the costs of his care. Best decision I ever made was to get insurance on my cats! Worth the expense for sure.

Very Disappointed!
When I signed up I was under the impression my pet's yearly exams were covered to some extent. NOT! Now I'm told my coverage doesn't include that. ?? I signed him up for an upgraded policy, so will see. I have a couple of years of claims that I have not turned in, mainly because I forgot about the coverage. My cat will get her checkup soon, and I am certain her claims will be denied also.

If you are questioning if pet insurance is worth it, do not hesitate, get it! I can recommend Healthy Paws, because they have been awesome with our case. We didn't think we'd need this service, but our breeder and Vet suggested we'r get insurance when our cat was 1 yr old and healthy. Best decision ever! Jack needed hip surgery, and it was so unexpected, but HEALTHY PAWS covered it. We were refunded 80% of the cost. So grateful for great insurance coverage!
