We had to use 24/7 vet helpline and we were so impressed!! Not only our phone call was picked up quickly at 9pm but we got opinion of a veterinarian. And they called us next day to check on us!!! Wow!! Our baby was ok and we are so thankful!

Biggest scam on the planet
The lowest score you can give is a 1 but this mess of a scam organization deserves a zero or less. I cannot get anyone to talk to me and the one person who did could not answer my questions and was like pulling teeth to get me transferred to the "specialists" they kept referring to. Come to find out I have been shoveling money every month for insurance that covers nothing. Basically they found a reason not to pay for anything my pet needed and claimed breathing difficulty as a pre existing condition. This after being told during enrollment that if my dog did need surgery it would be covered. Absolutely horrible. Do not make the same mistake I did give this company a single dime.

The insurance is expensive but sure glad for it when my dog has a problem.
Jack is 11 yrs. old. He had throwing up in 2015 and had all the tests then. They never came to any conclusion what his problem was. Had the same problem again recently and treated him for multiple things it could be. The insurance certainly was a big help both times.

Simply the best!
Trupanion is a very caring company that has excellent customer service and really cares about pets. They know how much are babies mean to us. I tell everybody with a pet, don’t hesitate to sign up. Sign up as early as possible. But it’s never too late. This is a wonderful, caring company.

My dog is now 10 years old and has a problem on his front leg and needed a lympoma removed. Trupanion reimbursed us for most of his hospital costs, thank you it's good to know you came through after all these years of payments we made. thank you

Unexpected expenses during Vet visit
Our 2 year old Stabyhoun was diagnosed with an enlarged heart, on accident, when he was getting an X-ray of his stomach for a recurrence of an infection. The vet gave him an EKG to test his heart and found an anomaly in one if the spikes on the graph. She also took a blood test to determine if there had been any heart damage due to his enlarged heart. Nationwide reimbursed us for an expensive veterinary visit I n just a few days. It was a great relief for us knowing we had insurance and could allow the Vet to do the needed tests without worrying about how we could afford them.
