Trupanion helped us when we needed it most
I adopted my pup while still in college. As he grew up, I started to notice a birth defect which was diagnosed as angular limb deformity. His right paw was twisted so that it was almost facing backward, and if he didn't have surgery to straighten it, his leg would eventually have had to be amputated as it was a recipe for severe arthritis in his elbow. His case was so severe that his surgeon wanted to have a mold of the deformity 3D printed in order to practice the operation beforehand. Trupanion helped me pay for the necessary CT scan, the 3D molds, and the surgery. As a college student, there is no way I could have handled this on my own. Thank you, Trupanion, for being there for my baby.

Takes Forever to get Your Refund, but Submitting a Claim is Easy
Submitting a claim is super fast and easy, except that 9 out of 10 times they take over 10 days to get your refund. I'd switch and try a different pet insurance company but all of these dill hole companies decided to reject any pet with pre-existing conditions. So, I'm stuck with the one I've got.
