Highly recommend to dog owners
It is very easy to sign up and complete all the necessary paperwork on line which is very important to me. They process claims within the states time period and make it easy for auto deposit into your bank account. They have covered all our medical care as stated in the plan, even congenital conditions. They even reached out to see how our pup was doing after his care. We are so happy to have this insurance to allow us to provide the needed medical care for our puppy. I would suggest you sign up before your dog ages to prevent preexisting conditions from not being covered. So far we are very happy with health paws and would recommend them to all dog owners!!

No hassle reimbursement!
We adopted a 9-week puppy and had a number of vet visits in the first few months. Large premium increases.
Large premium increases every year. After my first year with them they doubled my premium, and had to pick inferior coverage to keep prices down. After my second year they increased my premium by 50% forcing to yet again pick inferior coverage. Did an online quote just to see what it would look like with my dog's info, and my rate would have only been a 25% increase, leading me to believe they increase your rate more if you use the insurance. They were good at reimbursing me quick though.

Took forever for my refund
I filed two claims almost 3 months ago, and I have probably received 10 emails, some saying my claim was denied, and some saying they had yet to receive my records. Then, I received an email saying my claim was denied, and the next day, there was an email saying my refund was on the way. Took forever, and was very frustrating. Not a smooth process at all.

The absolute best lifesaver for pet owners!
I recommend that every single pet owner use Healthy Paws for insurance! My 3 year old corgi needed knee surgery and Healthy Paws never argued or demanded second opinions. They paid 80% of the cost, which was significant. Just take a photo of your bill, email it to them or use their app, and your reimbursement arrives within a week. They are absolutely amazing! My daughter has had the same positive experience. This is a company that everyone should know about. Thanks to them, my dogs can have whatever treatment they need without me going into bankruptcy. All I can say is good things about Healthy Paws. I was generally a bit skeptical about pet Insurance at first but having now been through an experience where my pup needed emergency spinal surgery, Im so glad we have it. Its one of those things that you are not sure you really need until you really need it. My experience with making my claim to Healthy Paws was good. It was fast and easy, which gave me the opportunity to focus on taking care of my pup who is now able to walk again.
