My experience with the folks at Healthy Paws was wonderful, and I highly recommend them to all pet owners
We enrolled Ramey, our 11 year old chow chow, with Healthy Paws in 2014. We had never had pet insurance before and weren't sure what to expect or how it would work out. We viewed this as helping to defray costs from a major surgery or other major medical event rather than to cover more minor issues. Several months ago Ramey was diagnosed with a large tumor on his liver. We are lucky to have excellent vets in our area and we took him to Angel Memorial, one of the best animal hospitals in the nation. He had a CT scan and surgery. I am happy to say that they were able to get all the tumor, and his prognosis is excellent. Furthermore, he has regained much of his energy and seems to be back to his old ways. Healthy Paws was terrific at every stage, guiding us through the claims process and explaining what documentation is required from his doctors. The bill was nearly $8k and Heallty Paws covered 90% after the $250. deductible. Needless to say we are very grateful. I highly recommend all pet owners interested in pet insurance to check out Healthy Paws.

Trupanion is a wonderful, caring pet insurance company.
I have had Trupanion pet insurance since both of my dogs were pups. We recently had to put Aspen down after a difficult time in the emergency. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Trupanion was so supportive and processed the claim for all of the medical services. We now have our other dog going through congestive heart failure. He gets regular blood tests and is on 4 medications to help alleviate fluid in his chest. Trupanion has been so wonderful in processing our claims and helping us to enjoy the time we have left with Timber, however long that may be.

Nationwide Pet Insurance pays claims with ease
Our dog got very sick and had a number of medical bills until the vets figured out the issue. Nationwide Pet Insurance covered our bills as contracted with no effort on our part. It was a welcome relief during a difficult time for our family.

Thank you Trupanion for taking such good care of my animals...my cat had to have a highly specialized surgery for urethral blockage which was very expensive and requires a lot of further specialized treatment. I have had ZERO issues with claims or payments...and have not had to worry for one minute whether I could get him the help he needed! Trupanion policies are worth every single penny! I would never be without it!

Trupanion is absolutely invaluable!
It has been an unexpected tough four months with my two year old having medical issues. Yet, Trupanion has truly made the experience absolutely easier. The coverage has been outstanding. Most amazing is, every time the vet or Hospital has a response from Trupanion within five minutes upon submission of claims. I love the follow up to me and the genuine message of care for my cat.

Extortionate renewal offers
Been with my insurance company for 3 years, E&L insurance but was taken over. Last year they tried to bump up the insurance by 240% which i refused and i was given a much better offer. For renewal Jan 2020 and it was up 360%. Needless to say i am no longer a customer. Absolutely dreadful business practice and i don't know about you but i much prefer to be shafted in person!!
