The Nationwide Pet Insurance Health and Wellness program has been very helpful to us and our cats.
As I mentioned in the review title, having pet insurance has been very helpful to us, especially since Zoe has been experiencing unexpected health issues over the past 6 months. Filing claims is easy and convenient and we are reimbursed in a timely manner. The only complaint we have is the recent increase in monthly premiums, by approximately 64%! We understand the increase was the result of overall industry standards, but feel it was still quite high. However, based on past experience we will continue to purchase our insurance from Nationwide. Thank you.

Awful waste of money
This is the worst policy ever you pay 950. a year per pet and then have a 250.00 deductible then i have had to resubmit the information 3 times with the doctor notes was not enough for 14.00 reimbursement. not worth the hassle. We this is a lie cause i cant leave a review that is bad. We want to hear from you: the good, bad & the ugly! Help other pet owners decide which pet insurance company is right for them and share your story.

Liars! Called before visit and was told I would be reimbursed in my pocket for the visit, I was NOT!!
I called before visit and was told I would be reimbursed for the visit. Went in had visit then was told no it will be added to your deductible. That isNOT what was discussed!! It clearly states it was covered so what your saying is it wasn’t covered! Covered means you pay for the visit and you did NOT!!! I am now reporting you to the BBB!

Excellent Service from Trupanion
My dog had an accident with one of her legs. I was unable to treat her myself, so I took her to the emergency Centre In Lethbridge. She had an overnight stay and was released the next day. She was feeling better and was able to weight bear on her injured leg. Trupanion covered the claim!

Unexplained delay and runaround.
I submitted three claims for the same ailment, dates of service August 29, Sept 4, and Sept 9. The Sept 9 claim was paid right away. I am still waiting for ANYTHING to happen with the Aug 29 and Sept 4 claims.
