Best choice I made for my best friend (Remi). My girl has developed some skin allergies and nationwide has been right there to help with the expense. If I could change only one thing it would be a faster reimbursement time but other than that I'm so glad to have this insurance

Good but little things can be improved
Overall happy. However after submitting a wellness vet visit for reimbursement I got an email saying Nationwide was hoping my dog was feeling better. It makes it a whole lot less genuine when the visit wasnt for a sickness and was classified under wellness. So now if I got another email it wouldn't mean anything. Lost the credibility there. Otherwise the processes are fine and clear. Could improve speed of reviewing and paying out. I had a different company previously who approved and submitted in 48 hours. Doesnt have to be that fast but a week would be better.

this insurance is very helpful with animals that have a serious condition but can live a normal life.
Years and years ago, i was asked to purchase insurance for my pet and at that time the coverage was very poor from the companies at that time and really did not make sense to buy insurance for your pets. Now the insurances are better capable of handling your claims and at a fair price. This company has helped in the way of how it covered our pets needs and they do get concerned about individual pets.

I want to give a huge shoutout of thanks to Nationwide for standing behind their pet insurance. It's a daunting decision to make, choosing a carrier that will help you in your time of need. Our Murphy is a happy and healthy puppy but had an unfortunate leg break at 8 months of age. Between the surgery, vet visits and medications, it was an ordeal. Knowing that Nationwide was behind us at least took some of the financial burden away and we were able to get him the best treatment. Thank you!
