A nightmare
I rescued a dog from DRSF and decided to insure him. This was the first time I had ever purchased pet insurance. They wanted medical records so I sent the records from the rescue. I had filed a claim but kept getting told they needed more info. 2 pages were missing. You would upload something else and this would take 7-10 days for them to again tell you it wasn't enough. You can't call the department that handles this. I really feel completely ripped off. Luckily this happened at the beginning. I finally got so fed up I cancelled the policy.

Nationwide is great except for payment on meds!
I’m very satisfied with Nationwide EXCEPT there should be payment for medications. Brody has allergies & it costs a lot for Apequel, etc. please reconsider paying for meds. Otherwise I’m happy. Payment is prompt!

As long As the Claim is not preexisting This company is the Best! They were very fast in settling the claim and had my money sent to my checking account in about 4 days ! Everyone was very nice on the phone as well point but I'm not sure how they are going to handle the return visits I will keep everyone posted

Reliable, Responsive and Highly Recommended
My dog is 14.5 years old and I signed up to for pet insurance with this company (through its predecessor Vetinsurance) when she was 3 months old. We have weathered a number of incidents over the years - double knee surgery, swallowed chicken bones from the garbage too large to pass, an anal duct blockage and in more recent geriatric days, arthritis, a heart murmur and dental care. All this is among the more common things like ear infections, diarrhea (disgusting food rotting in the grass along sidewalks during her walks is her speciality) and minor injuries in the days when leaping off the deck in pursuit of a squirrel was more common. I have never had a single issue with a claim, I have never been denied for something that is covered and have to fight to get coverage, assessment and payment is always fast and accurate and the terms and conditions for coverage have been exactly what I need, Every single time I have had to contact customer service (which is rare), the response is friendly, complete and efficient. Even the thank you on my claim payment for taking good care of my dog through vet visits suggests to me that this is a company that cares. And I don’t think that about any insurance company (or bank). Not only do I highly recommend getting pet insurance even if a pet is young, I specifically and exclusively recommend Petinsurance with over 14 years of exceptional experiences to back that recommendation.

Great service, easy to summit claim, great customer service
I have been a customer of HealthyPaws for 5 years now. Unfortunately I have had to file a claim 4 times total over this time (I have 3 dogs covered). Always quick and easy to summit claim. Great customer service and I have always been pleased with the outcome of my claims.
