Terrible Claims Processing
Do not buy this pet insurance. Until last week, I had 2 English Mastiffs insured by Pest Best insurance. I have been insured by them for over 5 years. I chose them because of all of the great review and their ease of filing claims. In the first 3 years of being insured, I never had a claim. When I finally had a couple claims, their claims processing time was a week or two from beginning to end. Now, it takes 3-4 weeks. In addition, they "lose" documentation that has already been submitted online. Last week, my 3 year old mastiff was diagnosed with hermangiosarcoma, a tumor on his heart. It ruptured and we lost him in 24 hours from the diagnosis. As if it's not hard enough losing a pet, dealing with Pets Best's claim service has been horrible. No one answers the phone or the live chat. I submitted receipts for payment, then detailed receipts of services. A week later, I am being asked for the original receipts of payment...and it starts the process over. Save yourself the trouble and chose another insurance company.

Pet's best insurance was literally a…life saver
Pet's best insurance was literally a life saver for our 13 year old coton de tulear. She had to have emergency gall bladder surgery and altogether it cost over $21,000. The claim did take almost 39 days to process but due to the high dollar cost, it took them longer to review. But they came through and reimbursed us 80% according to our policy. Don't know what we would have done without the insurance with Pet's Best.

I was pleased with the process getting the insurance quote except that it appears you do not take into account weight. That makes me wonder why? I don't understand why I'm paying as much for insurance for my little 6 lb might as someone with a massive Newfoundland. Other than that things are great we're all registered for pet insurance and it appears that it will be helpful

My dog has been seeing a dermatologist for months and it get very expensive. Trupanion has covered 90% of each bill I submit. It’s easy and the response time is quick. Very very highly recommend this insurance!

Coverage you can count on!
We've had to make two claims with Pets Best in the last year, and both times I felt like we received excellent service. They were responsive to emails and messages, and kept us updated throughout the process. Filing a claim was simple and took just a few minutes of my time, and we were reimbursed the funds fairly and in accordance to our coverage. There was a small delay in claim review due to the onset of the Covid crisis, but it was not excessive. All in all, I feel like Pets Best is one of the best, giving good coverage at affordable prices.
