Rip off
I have paid for insurance on my 2 cats for about 7 months. They were both neutered when I adopted them as 5-6 month old kittens. I took one of my cats to his veterinarian in July and submitted documents to the company. They emailed me about a week later wanting “ALL” his medical records which I sent. Another week and they again ask me for his records. I called the company and spoke with a nice man who said he’d make a note that the records I sent were all I or the doctor had. He had only been to the doctor for one problem and that was the only time he’d been to the vet since I adopted him. Another week goes by and I get another email asking the same thing. I call and speak with a woman this time. I’m getting upset now because this was supposed to be taken care of with the previous phone call. Apparently not. Still waiting on my check but not holding my breath. I have stopped paying.

When we brought our baby pug home five years ago, we researched pet insurance plans and decided on Healthy Paws. It was the second best decision of our lives (the first being our pup). Our precious pup has had many health crises over the years and Healthy Paws has been with us every step of the way. They have resolved every claim and shown nothing but extreme care and dedication to keeping our pup healthy and safe. They follow up with her recovery with personalized notes. When we brought our second fur baby home, we were offered a reduced rate at another company. We would never consider any other insurance. THE BEST insurance for your bet
I wish every company was as customer-focused as Healthy Paws. They are the gold standard and absolutely amazing! My dog has been very expensive throughout his life. Emergencies, surgeries, specialists, tests, medications-- for the past 9 years, Healthy Paws has always covered all of it and very quickly I might add. It is wonderful to know that I'm able to provide my dog with the best care without having to worry about being completely broke and paying off the debt for years to come (been there, done that). They aren't like other insurance where they have all these loopholes and asterisks regarding what they will and won't cover. There are no annual limits or caps on how much they will cover per incident and they also cover hereditary conditions which most other insurances do not. If you are shopping for THE BEST insurance for your animal (I mean, who isn't?), this is it.

A company that truly cares about the health of your pet!
I had never owned a dog before, but 5 years ago I decided to adopt, NORI, a dog from my local shelter. A friend suggested that I get pet insurance and recommended Healthy Paws. It was the best decision I could have made! In June 2020, I noticed a cancerous tumor growing on Nori's left nipple. It was a sarcoma so we decided to perform surgery to remove it immediately. Because of the aggressive nature of NORI's cancer, it was recommended that we see an oncologist after surgery. NORI is doing well, but she sees the doctor for blood work once a week and has chemotherapy treatments every 3 weeks. As you can imagine, the vet bills would have piled up if I was not insured by Healthy Paws. They have a convenient mobile app that allows me to take a snapshot of Nori's bills and immediately submit the claim. Within a week, her claim is reviewed and a reimbursement payment of up to 90% of the cost is direct deposited to my bank account. The financial support has been wonderfully reassuring and gives me peace of mind so that I can focus of taking care of my beloved NORI. In addition, the customer service is exceptional. Not only do they make certain that I receive my reimbursements quickly and efficiently, but they also contact me regularly to see how NORI is doing. The emotional support I have received from Healthy Paws was unexpected but SO greatly appreciated. This is a company that really loves and cares about the well-being of animals. Pets are a special part of our family. They deserve the best. Healthy Paws will give you the best service and quality of care.

This as been an excellent investment in our dogs future and well-being. All insurance companies have their reason for "D/Q'ing a submission and mostly for a good reason So far, most of opur claims have met met with a fair reimbursement. Excellent services.

If I could give a 0 I would
my claim was denied because they kept saying the vet did not get them information, which was a lie because I was copied in on the emails. The wait time to talk with someone is over an hour! Noone ever gets back with you. The "live chat" feature never works. If you leave a message noone ever gets back with you.
