only complaint is how much the rate goes up as the dog ages. paying over $100 a month doesn't seem like a good deal to me.
i have really loved having pet insurance and for the first few years found it to be a no-brainer with an english bulldog. My rate just went up to over $100 because he just turned 10 and now I don't think it's as cost effective. other than that, i give high marks.

Simple claims process. Customer service is nice
The process to submit a claim is very easy. I had to call customer service once and she was nice and professional. I definitely recommend Nationwide pet insurance.

Have 6 insured dogs
I have 6 pure bred shorthairs. Very active and at times very accadent prone. I couldn't save enough money in an account to do all the vaccines or God forbid a torn ligament. So this insurance has allowed me peace of mind. My dogs get best of care and my husband is happy because we aren't broke from medical bills. Just toys ! 😀

Will only help is your pet is about to die
Just a head ups, pets best will not help you in any way unless your pet is very sick and dying but not when you noticed abnormality on your pet and decided to get it checked, and advised by the vet to get ultrasound done to check everything and if it happens to be normal, you just lost your money. Pets best will only help you if your pet is already about to die. Do not recommend this garbage insurance. After this experience, I am better off saving money aside than giving them to companies like this.

Excellent claim service
ASPCA pet insurance processed my claim quickly and covered more than I expected! I was so pleased when I received the EOB for my claims. I had to submit two as a followup appointment was needed and they covered that as well! Great experience for me and my dog.

Like me, Malcolm is getting on in years. He will have more issues. He is mixed breed so some of his restrictions are not understandable.
