Healthy Paws makes claims easy

Healthy Paws has been nothing but the best for me and my dog, Emmett. I sing their praises whenever someone asks me about pet insurance. In December of 2019, Emmett had to get multiple MRIs and x-rays done and was diagnosed with multiple bulging discs causing nerve issues. Healthy Paws covered all the diagnostics and his new medications with no complications — and completed the claim before Christmas . Then a week later due to side effects of prednisone (body thinks it's starving) he ate a rope toy for the first time in his life (he's 8 years old.) Healthy Paws covered the ER visit with no hassle.

They are speedy and kind and right to the point. They even ask how your fur baby is doing after something serious happens! Love them! You’ll thank yourself for getting it god forbid something happens to your pet!

Trupanion provides great health coverage

Now that claims are being handled electronically rather than through faxing, they are dealt with expeditiously and generally approved within one or two days of being transmitted and the correct amount is direct deposited to my bank account the following day. My dogs have had myriad claims for medications and surgeries and Trupanion has always been there to cover their needs.

Trupanion lies to customers

I like that vet can submit directly and I only have to pay difference not covered. You don't cover exams which you should. Also you lie to customers saying premiums don't increase for life of pet. My premiums have gone up 250% in last 2-3 years due to '�reassessment of overall very claims in Hamilton area'�. For this reason will never purchase pet insurance in future. And won't recommend Trupanion to anyone.
