Waste of Money
Would not pay claim despite appeal letter from vet indicating injury vs pre-existing condition. They also delayed responding to my appeal until the new year, so my deductible would not factor in. Just another typical strategy from a company not in the business of approving claims or trusting a vet opinion on acute vs chronic medical issues. I cancelled my policy immediately. Don’t be fooled, this is a scam. I reported them to the insurance commissioner as well, doubt I’ll see any money but it felt like the right thing to do.

They have saved my dog - and I - more than once!
I am so grateful for this insurance company and the coverage they've provided to us since I adopted my dog in September 2017. Since then, she's been through heartworm treatment, then developed digestive issues that have turned out to be inflammatory bowel disease. Because of our policy, I have never had to worry about getting emergency care or tests/lab work done on my baby. I recommend this to all pets parent's I meet.

Love Pets Best
Love Pets Best! The insurances helped me save so much money when my baby got sick and needed a double surgery! Easy to call and contact, I love the 24/7 help line the provide! Overall have a great service, only down fall would be that they take a very long time to process claims. At first they told me it’s taking long because it’s my first claim, the next three claims took equally as long and every time got the same message they they are receiving a high claim volume and it will take longer for my claim to be processed. Other than that, I LOVE pets best and plan to stay with them if any other pets come into my life!

Been given the runaround on my claim
If I could give this company a zero I would . My dog got into a fight and I sent my claim in with detailed notes and charges from the vet in September 2019. I waited 2 months and got no response . I called in November and they said not enough notes I would have to appeal . This time I had the vet tech send it in , now to the appeals board and I haven’t heard from them . Now I have been on hold for 25 minutes waiting to hear back on my appeal . They really don’t want to pay for your claims . I would never recommend this company

This company has been so amazing and easy to work with. The times I have filed claims, they were very quick in getting the claims processed and the payment sent electronically. Money Saver
I highly encourage all pet parents to get health insurance through Healthy Paws. The customer service is great and they have covered multiple vet bills amounting to thousands of dollars for my dog who suffers from severe allergies. Its been a tough process figuring out how to help her get better but Healthy Paws has definitely made it a much easier one financially which let me focus on getting her the best medical help possible. My dog is in the early stages of her allergy immunotherapy but hopefully within the next couple of months the treatment will begin to pay off. Until then I know that this company will continue to help me tremendously.

We got this insurance when our dogs were just puppies. We have had to use it for allergies in one dog and a emergency in another. They have always been great at reimbursement and our claims have always been handled in a timely manner.

Very pleased with ASPCA Insurance
We adopted Shaggy from the shelter when he was approximately 1 year old. My husband and I did not want to make decisions about whatever health issues he may develop over time based solely on finances. After researching several different companies we chose ASPCA coverage for Accidents and Illnesses. At that time he was perfectly healthy. At the age of 2, Shaggy had something caught in his esophagus. While treating him multiple x-rays were taken which included pictures of his heart. His heart was of normal size and with treatment 24 hours later he was much better. A year later during a regular check-up our vet discovered his heart was enlarged and he was diagnosed with DCM (Dilated Cardiomyophathy). He is on medication and will be 4 years old the end of February. I submit my claims online and within a matter of days the claim has been processed. We are so thankful that we decided to purchase ASPCA insurance for Shaggy when he was new to our family. We had no idea his health would be a problem so early in his life. Pet insurance companies do not cover pre-existing conditions so again, we are very thankful we purchased insurance when we did. After meeting our $500 deductible, 90% of our expenses are covered. We highly recommend ASPCA Insurance.

Impressive how quickly they reimburse. Best plan to get and totally worth it. This is our third dog on their plan. Their reimbursement is excellent. Their customer service is always helpful.
