Good enough.
No real issue, but very slow in processing claims. They say it's because of the current situation(coronavirus), but they were always slower than what they claimed even before this. They used to say they could process in 2-3 days but that's never happened. Latest claim was exactly 40 days. I give 4 stars because they are a proper pet insurance company and I have received exactly what I expected when my dog had an emergency situation. They just need to get their times down for claims.

No coverage, just premiums
I signed up for Trupanion in June of 2020 and promptly provided the names of all vets who had seen my dog. Three months later Trupanion still had not managed to collect all of the records they claim to need to issue a coverage summary. They were far more diligent about collecting the full monthly premium despite their failure to provide a single month of full coverage. Had anything gone wrong during the waiting period I have no doubt they would have refused coverage and classified my claim as a preexisting condition. Don't do business with this company.

Excellent service
My little princess Dixie has had Trupanion as her pet insurance for years now. I can’t put into words the appreciation and gratitude I have for this pet insurance. Words are not enough. My little Dixie is alive because of this insurance. They came through for her during a life threatening medical condition. They have also covered infections that she has had. Trupanion has come through for Dixie many times. She is around 10 years old now and is doing great. Thank you Trupanion for being an excellent pet insurance.

So far so good
So far so good. I haven’t had the need to use it, thank God. I’m giving it 4 stars because I like the helpful hints and suggestions for puppies and older dogs. I hope things will run smoothly if/when I need to file a claim.

Insurance should be handled like thjs
I’m going to keep this plain and simple. I do not know, nor do I care to find out, how my little cat’s well being would be like if it wasn’t for Healthy Paws. It has been the least stressful part of healthcare for me, to say the least. I have recommended Healthy Paws to all my close friends and family.

They cancelled my policy stating my dog died - he has not!!
Last week i received an email stating they cancelled my policy and are sorry for the loss of my dog, but MY DOG DIDNT DIE! I have no idea how they would have any information stating that. I’ve been trying to get ahold of them all week and have been on hold for over 30 minutes each time and no one answers. They also have removed the email option on their website and the ‘chat’ feature on the website says it’s unavailable because they’re so busy. This is insane!!!
