However I am still very unimpressed with the increase in our rates with NEVER MAKING A CLAIM. We have been with trupanion for 3 years, since our dog was 8 weeks old. Very good way to loose low risk customers. Increasing rates based on other dogs claims is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Over $20 increase per month... during a pandemic.... for a completely healthy dog. I have seen tons of clients experience increases of $20-$60 per month, good luck keeping your customers with that business model.

I would normally recommend Trupanion to friends and family (and have MANY times in the past) but I have to admit my experience with Karissa was not the best.

She made me feel stupid for asking the question I called in about (dental cleanings and teeth removal). I would still recommend Trupanion but my last phone call (which this email references) was not great.
