Very fast, accurate, processing of claim that covered several vets and hospitals and tests.
Trupanion was recommended as the best pet insurance by a specialty vet after we had already incurred heavy charges for a previous condition. We signed up, and over a year later our cat had a serious fever and infection requiring multiple tests and vets' involvement. Not an easy claim to process since it was our first (and hopefully last) so previous records had to be gathered and evaluated before starting the evaluation for this illness.

Gave me only 2 days to contact vet for records
My dog died at 7 months. We had a few claims from his care prior to his passing. I submitted them, and almost two months later I was emailed that the needed to me to contact our vet for records. I work full time, and have been emotionally distressed over the passing of my puppy so calling the vet would be emotional. Before I was able to call, I received emails that my claims were denied. It was TWO days later. After taking two months they gave me two days to call the vet before denying my claims.

Terrific service
I’ve been very happy with Trupanion. I enrolled Phoebe the day I brought her home at 13 weeks old. She was diagnosed with liver disease at 6 months. Through the early ups and down of finding the right treatment Trupanion has been there. She is now 8 yrs old and is a very happy and healthy dog. Thank you.

My dog had surgery for a skin cancer…
My dog had surgery for a skin cancer removal. I submitted the claim on Friday and was reimbursed by Tuesday of the next week. With my previous insurance, I would submit a claim and call back in a month or so and they still had not done anything with the claim. I was shocked when I received a reimbursement back so quickly.

Absolutely fantastic service
Absolutely fantastic service! We have an 18mo old lab and he unfortunately ate something he shouldn’t have eaten. Four major surgeries later and he is back on the mend! Trupanion went above and beyond. They were helpful every time I called, and very responsive over email. They also paid our claim quicker than we expected so we are very grateful. So so thankful we had pet insurance to begin with, and we feel we definitely made the right decision with this company. Highly recommend to anyone considering insurance. (Especially if you have a lab puppy with little kiddos at home!).
