Nationwde has been great for Malia.
Ever since we have got Nationwide insurance for our Malia they've been great. According our Vet her "itch" problem could be a life time problem.

Nationwide is fast and easy to use.
I am very happy with the customer service I have always received. The turn around time once a claim has been filed is usually shorter than the 30 days. Always friendly and extremely helpful. They take the time to listen to you, which means a lot when you have a sick furry family member. I love to share information about nationwide to all pet parents.

Pre-existing Condition Exclusion
One phase: pre-existing condition exclusion. Makes this worthiness for pets that are adopted. Edit - Not really sure what transparency has to do with excluding pets with pre-existing conditions. Considering that this was an equally horrible thing for human health insurance that was changed maybe pet insurance companies should follow this lead instead.

Coverage Review
I think the insurance coverage and customer service in terms of answering questions, filing and processing claims is very good. The only comment I have is about removing exclusions from policies. I have submitted another request to have an exclusion removed and hopefully it will be approved. The reason for denying the removal the first time was that my dog was still on a prescription diet. This I found to be ironic since his diet is keeping him healthy and thriving. The only visits he really has had to the vet are for well checks and to purchase food during the last year.

The BEST decision!
My policy covers the wellness check and preventive meds, the monthly premium really pays itself off throughout the year. The ER visit sometimes happens but I am never worried about the cost because most of it is covered by the insurance. I want the BEST for my dog and I would not want to be in a position where I need to choose between my dog's life and the lack of funding. The customer service is amazing, I spoke with a young man named Brice, he was so professional and sincere. He said he'd follow up on my question, and one week later he really called me and I could tell that his supervisor and he were working hard to answer my question. I felt like they understand that my dog is my baby, not and I am just not a business profit to them, I felt that sincerity and kindness towards my affection for my dog. I would stay with this insurance company as long as my doggie is around! This was the best decision I've ever made, now our dog can get the best vet care I can possibly give without worrying about the expenses!

PETS BEST WAS AWESOME IN PAYING FOR MY DOG'S SNAKEBITE!!
Who expects their dog to come back with a snakebite after being let out in the morning to go to the bathroom. I was panicked, the dog's shoulder was swelling before my eyes, and I'm trying to get the dog bundled up and call the Emergency Vet at the same time. Her original estimate was $2300 to treat. She received 2 antivenoms and supportive care. After two days her red blood cells broke down as a complication from the venom. Her labs were terrible. She received a blood transfusion and plasma. Her shoulder was necrotic and swollen up like a tennis ball. Her neck and face was swollen. She had a fentanyl patch on her foot. They put a feeding tube in her nose. Finally, I brought her home after 6 days. Her bill was $8330 and Pets Best paid $7230. I am extremely happy with the Pets Best Accident policy. It brings great piece of mind. The Accident Policy is less than $10 a month and well worth it.
