I have been paying for the past 3 years and have only gotten around $40 back.
I have been paying for the past 3 years and have only gotten around $40 back. While I'm happy that it indicates that my dog has been pretty healthy, I've had some pretty steep vet bills that haven't been covered. The cost has gone up by quite a bit and now the deductible can only be raised and not lowered...the flexibility had been a real plus.

Missing important health coverage
I like Trupanion but it takes quite some time and effort to gather all the documents, scan them, and send them digitally. Also, my dog has severe anxiety and it is not covered under the plan. Ridiculous. My dogs mental health absolutely affects his heart, allergies, nervous system, skin and coat... as well as digestion, when he eats our couch because he is so anxious to be left alone. You need to adjust your basic plan to take into consideration any condition where the animal is taking Rx medication to try and manage the symptoms. Please reconsider your stance. Thank you.

I've been a customer for 4 years and every year our monthly payment has gone up but this year it went up $13 dollars.
I've been a customer for 4 years and every year our monthly payment has gone up but this year it went up $13 dollars. And you claim it has nothing to do with my pets age or health condition but its very ironic that I met my deductible this year and now I am getting my monthly payment increased. Will not be using trupanion again for my next pet.

Trupanion is Excellent!
Our experience with Trupanion is always excellent. We tell every person we can about how great Trupanion is! They are quick with reimbursing claims, their call staff is always helpful and patient when we have questions, and the option to pick the type of coverage we want makes it affordable for everyone. We could not continue to give our pups the best treatment without Trupanion!
