More Than Just An Insurance Company
Recently my husband and I went through every pet parents worst nightmare, a cancer diagnosis that came out of nowhere. We were faced with the choice to put our 6 year old dog down (the love of our life!) or go through Chemotherapy treatments over the next 6 months to extend her life and keep her comfortable with hopes of her going into remission. Without Healthy Paws, we wouldn't have had a choice because we simply couldn't afford the weekly treatments without their help. What Healthy Paws does for their clients goes far beyond a payment plan. We are so grateful to them for giving us the ability to treat Rosie's cancer, and more importantly giving us more time with her. They are quick to respond to claims, usually within 5 days the money is back in my account. Not only that, they actually sent me a message asking how my dog was doing after they noticed her cancer diagnosis on the claims I had submitted, this company really goes above and beyond and I am so thankful I chose them over many of the other companies.

I LOVE ALL OF THESE HEALTHY PAW PEOPLE SO MUCH!!!
This insurance is so insanely amazing. We have three dogs, all of which who have used Healthy Paws Insurance with both chronic issues and emergencies. I have NEVER had an issue with ANYTHING. My reimbursements come back directly into my bank account. I have called with questions, and have always felt as though I was more than appreciated, and couldn't have asked to speak with nicer/more informed people. I recently used Direct Pay in an emergency with one of our Border Collies. Healthy Paws paid the entire bill upfront for Luna's surgery after my husband and I had spent all the money we had for bills for the month on pre-surgical imaging and testing the day before. I don't know what we would do without this insurance. I feel I can totally be confident in the fact my dogs will always be covered in an emergency, even if I do not have the money right then at that moment. It is also affordable to me, because of Healthy Paws, to be able to get that test the vet always offers 'just to be sure', when something is wrong. I don't need to think about how I may need to pay for the electric that month versus get that ultrasound for one of our dogs... To say Healthy Paws is perfect wouldn't even be enough!!! a life saver!
We have had many, many major health issues with our dog, ever since he was a puppy, and Trupanion has been truly a life saver. They are wonderful to work with, and never try to fight out little details or get out of paying. We owe them so much, and always recommend to anyone with a pet! So thankful we signed up for a free trial when he was a puppy, not thinking he would ever need it!

This company sets the gold standard for pet insurance
For starters, if you have a pet and love them, you absolutely have to get pet insurance. Your pet might be the picture of health right now, and is hard as it might be to think about right now, there will be a time when that's no longer the case. No one beat father time and sometimes injury and sickness hit when they're young. Vet bills, especially Emergency vet bills can be outrageously expensive. I'm talking refinancing your mortgage expensive. You shouldn't have to make the choice between getting your beloved pet the care they need or mortgaging your financial future. The good news is that you don't have to. Healthy Paws was recommended to me by a Vet that i trusted when my best buddy, Petey (border collie mix), was 10 years old and signing up with them is quite literally one of the most important decisions I've ever made. Without Healthy Paws my boy wouldn't be with me. Healthy Paws has been INCREDIBLE! They have covered every single expense as they said they would and they process the claims quickly. Their customer service is fantastic and there is nothing bad that I can say about them. I'm sure there are other great pet insurance companies out there, but I chose Healthy Paws and I can honestly say that you should too.

Easy claim filing-Great Service
This is the second claim we have filed, one for wellness, one for accident and it's so easy. They process in a timely manner! Anytime we spoke to a representative, they have been friendly, helpful and answered every question. Customer care agent, Schelie, recently called us to follow up on the accident claim we filed and she was very nice and concerned about my pet. Just great all around service! Thank you!
