Claimed they couldn't get medical records but vet had no record of them contacting. Been a member for almost a year, filed my first claim and within 3 weeks got notice that my premiums were going up 30%. Wtf.

The insurance coverage itself is great but …
The insurance itself is great but … you do need to read more into what it doesn’t cover. It didn’t cover the initial exam for my lethargic sick puppy. That being said, out of the $8,600 emergency vet and hospitalization bill my portion of $1500. I do highly recommend Trupanion. $1500 covered the initial exam, taxes and shipping, a second diagnosis, deductible for 2 different diagnoses,
