Love my Nationwide!
Nationwide covers both my Home, Auto and my dear lab, Maggie....We're so pleased with Nationwide!...The policy affords us to give her the best possible care we can as pet parents. Recently, she went to NCSU Vet School for a complete allergy work-up for environmental triggers. They shaved a section on her side and made 60 "scratches" to see where her trigger points were. And her results were not too far away from mine that I had years ago!...Maggie has grass, weed, inhalant mold and insect triggers. I am a tree, grass, weed and inhalant mold :)….I think I have a Mini-Me! :)....But thanks so much for asking as we are now waiting for her serum, so as to begin shots to build her antibodies.:) And let me say the Vet School is well worth the money- we love them!

Our pup sadly had a portal systemic shunt and she needed surgery. From all the diagnostics to the surgery, you have been amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Without you, we would have lost our girl because we simply could not have afforded the veterinary costs. You folks are great, it's nice to know your are there when there's an emergency.
Trupanion is a great company and I'm pleased to work with them. It's a great comfort knowing they are there when I have emergencies with the Cats. I have recommended them to any pet owner I meet. I don't do that unless I truly trust and enjoy working with a company. Your staff are always polite and good to work with. I haven't had any bad, ugly or even off of good experiences. Insurance is something you sometimes forget about until you need it and recently I really needed it and am ever so glad Healthy Paws was there for me and my boy - Winston. When I was a kid we were forced to put down our family pet because we couldn’t afford the surgery and so swore to myself that would never ever happen to me. I never want to make a decision on the life of my pet/family member due to finances. Healthy Paws was my obvious choice because they didn’t have limitations on the types of cancer or diseases. With the other companies - what good is having insurance if your pup is diagnosed with something that’s not in your covered list? Recently my boy was diagnosed with an MCT - and needed to have surgery to remove it. Thankfully I didn’t need to worry about the costs. Filing a claim was easy - used my cell app, uploaded a few documents and I received my check before my credit card bill was due. In addition Tyson and Wagner from customer service even sent me a note to check in to see how Winston was recovering. If you’re in need of a good policy, Healthy Paws is the best choice.
