I highly recommend Spot!
I purchased accident and illness insurance for my dog in 2024. I didn't have any claims that year. However, this year I have already filed 2 substantial claims. The first was for a cardiologist evaluation and EKG, totally over $1,000. Spot allow all of that claim and reimbursed me about $360 ($500 satisfied my deductible and I received 80% of the remainder, as set forth in my insurance terms). The next claim was for a tooth extraction and dental cleaning for a total of over $1,600. Except for about $5 for "pet waste/taxes," Spot again allowed all the charges. I just got a check for about $1,330! (Numbers aren't precise but the refund is 80% of the allowable costs.) Filing claims is easy as is providing the additional information they may request. Both claims were paid within a couple of weeks. On 1 occasion, I had to reach out to their customer service and this too was a very favorable experience. While the premiums are high, the cost is offset if your pet has an accident or illness. I very much recommend Spot for your piece of mind!

Documents were provided for dental but…
Documents were provided for dental but also for 2 growth removals including margins. Embrace never considered the growths. Very disappointing given the $1400/year premiums

Fetch does not take privacy seriously…
Fetch does not take privacy seriously or learn from its mistakes. A dog that I previously owned was rehomed and the policy was transferred to the new owner. Still I kept getting information about the dog via email and on my Fetch account page. I alerted Fetch and they said they would fix this error. Now months later, I am getting emails about the new owners claim and on my account page, there are the new owners vet info, invoice, and claim details. Clearly this is a breach of their privacy but Fetch seems unconcerned even after I contacted them again. To top it all off, Fetch denied their claim noting the policy was invalid... its not invalid, it was transferred to the new owner! Once I contacted Fetch (which is also nearly impossible), they were so nonchalant about it, saying oh well since it was denied I shouldn't get further emails. Duh.... it was denied because you can't seem to get your facts straight. This company is so poorly run and clearly does not follow the FOIPP Act. They are also insensitive and have little concern for such minor details apparently. ** Update, I've contacted Fetch about this twice and it was escalated to a Supervisor but its still happening. The chat agents don't grasp the seriousness or have any interest in escalating the issue. The problem persists despite Fetch being made aware of it.

The claim process is simple on the app
The claim process is simple on the app. Just take a pic of the invoice and notes from the vet. That’s it, claim processed, money back. 😊 It can be be a direct deposited right into bank.
