This is a rip off

After years of taking my money and not paying any claims I cancelled my policy. I’ve given them over 20 k for 2 dogs. Apparently they wanted 68 bucks for the month and after I questioned it I never heard back from them. The jerks sent my bill to a collection agency without ever informing me. Do not use this company

Pets Worst

If there were zero stars that would be too many Along with a huge increase in premiums, it now takes 35-60 days to pay a claim Their excuse... experiencing growth and not enough customer service reps This has been going on for at least 4 months If I weren’t stuck with them because of my dog’s pre-existing condition I would have switched to another carrier Run run away as fast as you can

LOVE Healthy Paws!

I enrolled my dog Pearl for coverage with Healthy Paws shortly after adopting her in 2016 and am forever grateful that I did--they've been a terrific partner. I've submitted several claims over the past 3 & 1/2 years, from an illness-related hospitalization to recent CCL repair (knee surgery). The process is simple and takes only a few minutes, and Healthy Paws sends the reimbursement within 10 days. That's a lifesaver--being able to pay down the credit card bill for surgery before the next billing cycle begins is a bonus. I've recommended Healthy Paws to several friends and happily endorse them here. Everyone I've dealt with there has been helpful and friendly, including reaching out to see how my Pearl is doing post-surgery. If you've got a pet and considering pet insurance--and why wouldn't you?--you really ought to go with Healthy Paws. You'll be glad you did.

BEST insurance around, best decision I made for my pets and myself

I have had Healthy Paws insurance for both of my pups, ages 5 and 8, and I cannot say enough positive things! I am always able to get the best care for my babies without ever worrying that I can't pay the bill. One of my pups is always healthy and has required minimal medical interventions, but did need two masses removed which certainly could have added up quickly. My 8 year old, however, has had the worst luck and has suffered from cataracts, glacoma, eventual replacement of both eyes with prosthetics, hip dysplasia, luxating patellas, skin rashes, chronic ear infections, one mass removal, lyme disease, and most recently chronic UTIs requiring over 6 months of treatment, multiple veterinarians, and a full abdominal ultrasound. I didn't know all this would happen when I signed up for Healthy Paws, but I'm so grateful I did. I don't want to imagine how my baby would have been if I wasn't able to provide her with the best care possible with the help of Healthy Paws. I have never had to withhold care for her based on my ability to pay, and that is the most amazing part of working with Healthy Paws. I did A LOT of research, and my employer even offers a different (decent) pet insurance, but I decided Healthy Paws was the best option and I absolutely know I made the best decision. With Health Paws there is no annual cap on treatment (had I signed up for any other insurance, we would have certainly capped in 2017 after 3 surgeries and dozens of prescriptions), covers all medications (even her $90/month eye drops she will always be on) and the reimbursement is so quickly direct deposited into my bank account I never need to worry about my finances. Submitting claims literally takes seconds with their app, and I am always bragging to my friends and coworkers about my 90% reimbursement. Several people I know have signed up for Healthy Paws after they've witness our experience. All of that would be enough to rave about this incredible insurance that has truly been a miracle for our family, but it's their customer service that really shows the compassion and love that is behind this company. Every time we're going through something, I have received a personalized email asking about how she is, and wishing us well throughout our care. I am a single person with 2 dogs, and with Healthy Paws by our side I really feel like we have a partner who truly cares about our well being. Caring for a pup with such special needs would feel impossible without this team having our back. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HEALTHY PAWS, and just writing this review has brought up a lot of emotions because I cannot imagine where we would be without the assistance of such a solid company and the compassionate team of humans that represent them. Choosing Healthy Paws is hands down the best decision I've made for my dogs.
