No coverage when needed
I’m uncertain if I will stay with Trupanion. I have paid diligently for two years and never made a claim for our dog but to have nothing covered for her newly developed allergy is disappointing.

My dogger had an obstruction from eating a piece of a ball. She had to have surgery on her stomach to have it removed. It cost $7700! Trupanion paid almost all of it an we got our money back within days.

Our Mini American Shepherd had gotten sick with an unknown ailment that caused her to throw up. The vet at RR animal hospital informed us that we might not be covered because this was considered a pre-existing condition. Well, Trupanion came thru and covered the expense after the deductible was met, good for them!
